Agony (PDF)

Agony is an optional set of rules that adds mechanical depth to combat in the Strain Basic system.

Players will have to balance their actions between offense and defense, bandage their bleeding wounds, and deal with permanent injuries. Players will also find equipment to be more meaningful, with armor and weapons gaining ratings based on their design, size, and material. Adversaries have statistic templates and special abilities.
